Hi guys...I have a big problem for me right now....for two days, when I try to turn on my laptop, it doesn't work anymore...The power light is becoming blue, I hear the cooler when is starting...the cd-rom appears to check if their is any cd inside...but the screen remains black...I leave the laptop in that situation for about 5-10 minutes...and then I press power button to turn off the computer...and when I try again...surprinse...averything is all right...and the laptop appears in a perfect condition... when I resartmy laptop everything is all right, but If I shut it down...and leave it for some couple of hours, the problem reappears.
It;s quite stange for me and I hope you experts give me some hints...Thanks...
Sounds like it might be a thermal problem: it works when warm but not at room temperature. Suggestion: While off, put in in a warm place (not too hot, just on the order of what it feels like after it has been running for a while), then turn it on. See if it starts working any sooner when it is already warm. Or, conversely, see how long it takes to stop working after it has been on for a while (turn it on and back off periodically to check), then get it warm and stick in the refrigerator (to cool off faster) and check periodically to see if it stops working sooner. There are some other things, like electrolytic capactors in the power supply that might "deform" excessively quickly when they are not energized, too.

I had this issue and after checking the BIOS and various other tests in safe mode, solved it by following these simple steps.
Go to "Ease of Access centre"
Choose "Make the mouse easier to use"
Uncheck "Turn on mouse keys"
Choose Apply and ok.
Worked for me, might work for you.
