Often, even after you have removed the paper jam, one of the sensors can still report a "Paper Jam". These sensors look like small plastic "fingers" that project along paper path. More sophisticated printers may have an "electric eye" mechanism. Sometimes when you get a bad jam, the paper has to be ripped out, and a very small piece can get caught on one of the sensors or block the electric eye type sensor. Remove the ink cartridges and shine a light into the machine and look for small pieces of paper stuck inside, and gently remove them. If one of the sensor fingers is bent or jammed, it can cause the same problem. See if any of these are stuck and gently free them. Take care, since they break off very easily. They may also break off if you forcibly pull out a jammed paper. If one of the sensors is broken, then you are out of luck, and will need to buy a new printer. you can also try vaccuming insides with one of those flat nozzles connnected to a regular vaccum cleaner.

    If the problem is intermittent, it still may be a sensor issue. If there is dust, preventing one of the sensors reseting, it may be indicating to the printer that there is still paper stuck in the paper path. Have you tired vaccuming inside?

You have a new printer and one with a defect. Since this is a brand new printer and after it is made sure that your installation procedure was done correctly, the fault can be due to a damaged door detectlimit switch.
Finally you remove the printer from the PC, open programs and uninstall the drivers. Now restart and install the drivers, connect the printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED.
Now check the functions and if the fault has not cleared, you MUST report the matter to the dealer or the support site to get free replacement.

No print. white paper coming

Hi, i will give you answer common to all copiers since you did not specify the model number but if you find it inadequate, please specify the exact model number of your machine. This problem can occur due to the following;
  • Check corona wire that they are intact.
  • Check there is toner or developer in the copier and no gear broken.
  • Check that the drum is rotating.
  • Check that the HT board is okay or disconnected.
Do the above procedure and test every time you do each procedure and stop where it work.
Bye.

Scanner function does not appear to work. All

i would say possibly you are missing out on something..because if the other functions particularly photocopying are working then this should work..as in if the photocopying function works then the scanner is ok cause basically in photocopying the machine scans then prints... perhaps check whether you are correctly following procedure to scan..most hp all in ones have a button on them that you press and it automatically initiates scanning and simultaneously the software on the pc is initiated..try this,if not then try reinstalling the hp software..hope this helps..regards
