To delete songs from your device follow the steps below You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode..to change to MSC go under menu settings and usb mode..then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media, music and delete them from there. Either under sync panel in your windowsmedia player it will show your music when it's connected. just click the plus signs for what song you need to get rid of, right click and click delete. Hope this helps
P.S.Please rate accordingly... Thank You Computerrep
Try formatting the player again. When you open windows media player it is probably showing the songs that you have on your computer not the songs currently on your sansa.
Try hard resetting it. Thtas putting all the settings back to manufacture like. Maybe that'll help. To do that just hold the power button for 15 seconds
Chances are that you are using windows xp. open up your sansa folder to where it says pictuer, movies, ect. look at the picture to see what to do. In your player folder click tools --> folder options --> View. Under hidden files and folders click 'show hidden files and folders, click ok. The music folder would now show up where the videos and pictures are. Simply open the music folder and delete the ones you do not want. By default the songs are sorted by artist --> album --> song.
