Water is gathering under the crisper drawers. We have to mop up every 2 or 3 days

Every couple of days, enough water accumulates under the drawers that it leaks out the front of the fridge and onto the floor. It seems to be overflowing from the drain at the back, just behind the cripers.

Yes I did try this. Perhaps I'm not getting far enough into the drain. I have a Frigidaire (aka Sears/Electrolux) and I expected to see a drip pan under the fridge but I don't. Am I missing something?

Frost-free refrig. have a condensation drain on the inside back wall . Check for a blockage. Use a pipe cleaner (pipe tobacco) to clear it.

Water collects under crispers in wood's all frig

The drain is plugged. My preferred method to clear it would be to use compressed air. Even the type of canned air you'd blow off your computer keyboard with might work (just tape around the nozzle until it fits tight to the drain under the crisper bins). If you don't have that, try fishing a wire from the top, but be careful not to cut open the drain hose.

You have a leaking water tank behind the crisper drawer. You will need to get back there to determine if the tank is leaking or the water connection is leaking. This will only leak if you close the door and dispense water from the dispenser.

Bottom of fridge collects water

Hello there:
I have written a few steps for you to follow and try ok?
  1. Manufacturers have different ways to dispose of the water created during automatic defrost cycles. The most common design routes the water down a rubber tube on the back of the fridge to a tray beneath. This tube often gets plugged with breadcrumbs, peas etc. and can generally easily be removed and cleaned.
  2. Make sure the end of the hose is sitting in the defrost tray.
  3. If your hose was not plugged and you have found water running down the back wall inside the fridge or a pool under the bottom crisper has formed. Check if there is a small funnel located on the back wall near the top inside the fridge. It can also get plugged; you can use a small wire and work it in and out of the hole.
  4. Some designs do run the water down the back wall and have a drain hole under the crisper, make sure it is not plugged.
I hope that this has been verry helpfull for you
best regards michael

Unplug the power to the Fridge, take the items out of the freezer. There is a bottom tray that's inside the freezer that has 2 or 4 screws, remove the screws that holds the floor to the freezer and lift it out. You will probably see a sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer. You may have to take off the back cover which is inside the freezer, it covers the evaporator. Then you will want to defrost the ice, do not use a heat gun it will melt the inside of the freezer. Best way to thaw it is leave the power off and melt it with hot water (not boiling). Either wet vac out the water as it melts or use a hand towel to mop it up. Sometimes a turkey baster will work to squeegee it out. There is a drain hole in the back that you will see as the ice begins to melt. That needs to be clear and the only way to clear it is to cover it with hot water. You will know that it clears and working when you see the water drain out thru the drain hole in the back of the inside of the freezer. By the way the drain drains thru a pipe thru a tray that's on top of your compressor. That's what heats it and makes it evaporate. Be advised that as you see that it is clearing, you can stop dumping water down there as some may get on the floor as the pan may overflow and dump water on the floor. If that happens, just mop up the water from the floor. Now put it back together again and plug it back in and you should have no further problems.

Water on the bottom shelf of the Refridgerator

Has the refrigerator got a wet inner back?
Ff this is wet, adjust it until this solid ice 'blobs', bt not encrusted, like in a freezer
The refrigerator may not be cool enough and the natural warm moisture allowed into the cool compartment when the door is open is condensing into fluid before it is cooling sufficiently to suspend the moisture as a vapour. If the cool compartment is cool enough, any warm air admitted ill be chilled before it is allowed to condense, keeping the refridgerator dry.
However, the only drawback is that you will have to monitor it to prevent the build up of excesive ice.
Also, whether the refridgerator is either empty of full willaffe the day to day operation.
Hope this helps.
