Ok. I admit... I should not have dropped it! Nothing looks damaged or cracked on the outside. The lens looks fine and the screen is ok. But when I power it on the "green light" goes on so I know it's "on". But the screen is white. It doesn't matter what I'm pointing the camera towards. The screen is white. I can't take any pictures nor take any video. I can't bring up the menu. I can't see the old pictures or videos on the camera. I turn the nob (play, camera, m & scn etc.) and nothing changes - only a white screen. I hear the motor trying to do something when I take a picture or take video. But nothing happens. The 10x optical zoom comes out in picture mode. Looks ok on the outside. But white on the screen. I can feel the zoom working... but can't see anything. But I feel the motor zooming in/out and when it gets to its max (in or out) it stops. Just like normal.
Do I dare open the camera up and try to fix the insides? I've never looked inside before so I don't know how it SHOULD look ... any suggestions? I'm willing to try anything... Thanks!!! -Katie

On my Canon Powershot TX1 the screen displays everything upside down. It just flipped one day and I can't get it back - I assume this isn't a 'settings' problem? Any ideas would be appreciated!

My Canon TX1 was working great and all of a sudden when I tried to turn it on it displayed a message "Lens Error - Restart Camera". After this is displayed the camera powers down and each time you try to repower it, it repeats this message and the lens never opens. This camera is not very old nor has it been used much so this has me a bit frustrated. Please help...
