Color goint out

It is a older Hitachi---what do you have---color is skewed or even looks 3d?

That if the case is a convergence problem. See typical photos--no two will look exactly the same but the pictures should tell you if this is your problem or not.

if you mean it looks 3 d that is a convergence problem--colors skewed etc, if no color at all that is a different issue.

Go to menu then color ,Tint adjust the tint if that does not clear picture then you have Bad Lighht Engine Encompass parts Distribution might have it go to their website and type in your model number 1-800-638-3328

I always look for Parts on Ebay find better deals their sometimes.

Hitachi TV also Model # 46UX7K, Serial # W1H002013. I was hoping I can get help with this one too. The picture is dark and has lost most of it's color. I don't know if the color is off because it is so dark. Is there parts that I can buy from you to fix this problem.

You have a problem with the light engine. Hitachi has extended the warranty on some of these. This is a major expense with major labor charges. Better get in contact with a local Hitachi authorized repair facility.

Yes replace both STKs, I always use the 392-180s they are the king of ICs ,also look for burt or open low ohm resistors you may have a few bad ones . you can go to www.electroix.com they have the parts you need 1-800-223-3205 if you need anymore help let me know.

Reset tv to factory settings refer to your owners manual. If still no picture attach a DVD or video player and test. If still no pic refer to tech.
