There should be an Input or Source button on your remote and also on the TV.

Your plasma tv will display HD content when you connect an HD source (Blu Ray Disk, Sony PS3 / PS4 or Xbox 360, HD Cable Box, HD satellite, etc) via the TV's HDMI1, HDMI2, Component1, Component2 jacks or if you connect a UHF/VHF TV antenna (not cable box, etc.) to the "Ant" connector *and* you're close enough to a broadcaster with HD content to view.

Using any other input will produce only the lesser quality SD video signals. Review the manual - linked below - to help you connect the components you have.

hi i'd try a factory reset before you buy any boards, to do this press and hold volume down button and then press info on the remote control 3 times, when your in the service menu select reset this will restore the tv back to when you brought it hope it helps

It sounds that the video settings to TV should be checked. Refer its user manual for details.

It depends on what type of Video connector you have with the Xbox, if you have Yellow white and red then it would go into the video input and put your TV in Video mode., If you have Blue red and green, it is use for component input, and you put your TV in component mode,,(HD)

if it a flat screen tv i would recommend u use a HD tv wit ur xbox

Depending on the type of Tv you have look for the Red Blue and Green RCA Compsite jacks on the back and the Left and Right Audio Which are Red & White Plug them in and Check the connection by turning th 360 plug to HD (near the console) and turn it the Tv and 360 on (make sure the Tv is on the right input) and that should do it.

this is not an issue with tv or anything else, the xbox is defective, everyone i know that owns a 360 has had to return or rebuy the console at least once or twicee, i recomend returning iit to the store you bought it from and exchanging it for a working unit, it'll be sent back for repairs anyway but then you get a working unit faster and if you send it to get repaired yourself there is a good chance it's gonna cost you, maybe just shipping but microsoft has horrible support for all of their products, they wanted me to pay to have the xbox i bought brand new fixed plus shipping to and from, because the dvd drive didn't open from day one, i returned it to ebgames and they gave me a working one on the spot. FYI if it were an issue with the tv or compatability then you would not get video or distorted audio/video or something of that nature, the xbox would still stay powered on.
