Question about Digital Research Computers & Internet
Suddenly it's begun making a deep beeping noise and no PC can find it.
Ouch, why is it these things always seem to die same time as the computer?
Ok, thanks for updating the post. If you're still feeling handy and have a small set of torques screwdrivers, it is possible to change out the circuit board and see if it's just a failed board. However if the failure is inside the shell you'll definitely need a pro as you cannot open the casing except in a cleanroom.
what is the make, model, part # manufacture date, firmware and site code from the actual hard drive you extracted from the shell?
If you're still feeling handy I'll see if I can track down a spare board you can purchase, if you've hit your limit I'll help you find a pro.
Also where are you located?
