Re: tv will not turn on but makes a beeping sound
Sounds like a capacitor in one of the power supplies exploded either in your high voltage horizontal power supply or the main power supply. If you don't mind taking off the back cover you actually might be able to find this capacitor it will have a huge hole in it.
Capacitors tend to dry out after about 5-6 years and can explode just like yours has.

Depending if the computer will turn on correctly or not, it sounds like this could be either simple or a big job. To make it easy: If the computer turns on fine, works fine, just beeps while shut down and charging, there's a fault in the charger.
However, If the computer will power on, but no display yet you hear beeps, than one of 2 things is happening.
1: Try removing 1 chip of memory (1 of the panels on the bottom laptop) than starting it, than reversing the procedure.
2: If still no luck, the motherboard needs replacement which if under warranty is covered.
does it back up while beeping? just kidding - what does the power light on the tv do after you try to turn it on do you hear sound at all? have you tried changing inputs (do you get video on any input) does you see a picture n the tv at all if so is the picture really dark - need a little more info to get you in the right area - probably a power supply or inverter board problem to be honestly with you.
It sounds like it might have overheated, first let it cool down for a little while then and try
again. If it starts working again, get compressed air and clean out the
PS3, and possibly get an external fan to stop so this doesn't happen again. If the PS3 still does the 3 beeps try putting the PS3 in
recovery mode by going to the recovery menu. Which can be done by doing
Turn off the PS3
Hold the power button down;
the system should turn on and turn itself off.
Once its turned it self back off press the power button
intill you hear to beeps
After you hear the beeps let go of the power button
You will told to plug your controller in and press the
Then the recovery menu will pop up
If the PS3
still doesn't turn on it be dead and need to be replaced. Best of luck!
