Wait!! Put down the wrench and the parts manual.

For dryers with a permanent press cycle or a wrinkle inhibitor cycle this is normal.

It'll turn on for a minute or so periodically if it senses the clothes are dry and is set in one of the above cycles. It won't do this for hours, but it will for a while.

Like the computer techs always say -- "It's not a problem, it's a feature"

Actually it is a good idea so that permanent press fabrics don't get wrinked if they sit in the dryer for a while.

BTW, most dryers will give you the ability to shut this feature off, but I find it handy 'cause I'm lazy and don't get the clothes out in a timely fashion.

good luck

Sounds as if you have a clog somewhere. This is designed to stop running when it senses there is a back flow or resistance to the air pushing through here.

Dryer drum turns, heats, but then heat shuts off before timer has finished.

The heat is supposed to turn off ten to fifteen minutes before the end of the cycle. It's a cool down period.

Good Afternoon Terry, thank you for your post!

Often constant beeping is an indication that the unit is experiencing a possible error. I under you have tried resetting the dryer by flipping the breaker. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes before turning on the unit. If the beeping continues, then the appliance could be experiencing a communication issue with the control board or a potential wiring failure. I would recommend connecting with a qualified appliance repairman to proceed further.

Dryer starts then stops 10 seconds later for 1 minute then starts again

You dryer has several "overheat thermostats" located at various places inside your machine.
They are to prevent fires caused by overheating.
I suspect one of them is defective, or you have another problem which is causing one to shut your dryer off.
The dryer is shutting off to prevent a fire.
Be blessed

Dryer timer continues to tick when cycle is finished

The first thing to try is unplugging the dryer for 30 minutes or so ans then plugging it back in.This should fix the issue and allow the timer to reset itself so it runs properly after this. Please feel free toget back to me if this does not solve your problem.
