everytime I turn it on all I get is   E18  on the display screen and then it shuts off

-   I have a powershot A410 camera and when i turn it on everything's fine. when I try to zoom in it will zoom for just a tiny bit and then it zooms out again. it goes blank and says E18. What does this mean, how can I fix it and what did I do wrong? -   Jazzatron
