Question about Whirlpool 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Gas Range - White-on-White
When I preheat the oven I get a strong smell of gas that fills the kitchen. It goes away after a while but it shouldnt be happening. Is there anything I can do? Is there any valve I can turn down?
Ok, your mixture is to rich at this time. you will need to access the gas pressure regulator and adjust the air to fuel mixture. add a bit more air and back off of the fuel a bit. this will correct this issue.
depending on the model, this may or may not be an option so, if you cant access the regulator and the burner assembly is not accessible as well, i recommend calling the local gas utility service tech to preform this adjustment. This rich mixture is very dangerous for you and your family and i suggest that this be corrected asap for you safety.
Please rate and god bless:)
