Question about Zanussi FJD1666W Front Load Washer
Hi, I hope someone may be able to assist me with this one.
The machine washes, agitates and pumps out fine, but when it comes to fast spin, the drum will be turning slowly, but within a second of the motor changing tone and start winding up to a fast spin i get a relay click on the pcb controller board and the motorstops. The drum will then start revolving the opposite way slowly(im not sure if it trys to fast spin this way but again it stops). The drum then revolves again the original way slowly before again trying to wind up for a second and again "click" as it starts to speed up from pcb controller and motor stops and turns the other way again. It trys this 2 or 3 times then controller proceeds a step and machine stops and holds out as cycle is finished.
I have filled water through soap tray before all the above and this is pumped out so the pump is ok i think, door is locked when on so i assume the lock is ok(although not sure about switch), i blew from pressure switch towards pump and this tube was clear, filter removed and cleaned, belt is correct tention. Im sure its not the thermal protection on the motor as it resets imediately if i off/on and try again. Im thinking it may be a welded contact on the pressure switch or possibly a faulty pcb/controller. Maybe someone out there knows what may be causing theis relay to click and spin to stop at begining of wind up of speed. Any help would be gratefully recieved.
PCB! board seen good few in Ireland with same trouble

Test the machine empty without clothes in it, if all is well then i think your problem may be the motor carbons, take them off and check for damage, make sure one of them has not spit down the middle, also look at the armature for signs of sparking,a worn armature or carbons will work fine at slow speeds
you haven't mentioned the carbons, its trying to spin so may not be the pcb
