Question about iRobot 4150 Roomba Vacuum
Have had my Roomba for a little less than a year. Don't use it frequently, but keep it plugged in and fully charged so it's ready when I do use it. However, lately when I turn it on (fully charged, green light), it runs for anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes (1-2) and then the red light comes on and it stops. I plug it back in, and a couple of minutes later, the green light comes back on. I unplug, restart, and it stops again after 30 sec-2 min. Again, I plug it it - same deal. Usually after about the 3rd try, it will run its cleaning cycle. Can anyone advise me what might be wrong. I have fully cleaned it, popped the battery in and out - just don't know what to do. H-e-l-p!!!!!
If you have a 400 series Roomba, try removing the battery, then holding down the power button for ten seconds, then recharging the unit before you run it again.
If you have a 500 series Roomba, don't take out the battery-- just press and hold the "spot" and "dock" buttons for about fifteen seconds. The Roomba will play a tune, and you can then charge it and try running it again later.
