Okay I just bought a new AT&T phone for my service plan. I had alot of ringtones on my old phone and i want them on my new one. How can I get my old ringtones put on my new phone without purchasing them all over again. There has got to be a sight that AT&T members can go to and get there ringtones back when they upgrade there phone
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones). click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Good luck!

you have downloadable polyphonic ringtones. You have to go into your ringtones in your phone and click on "get new" or go to the page for where you have your plan with and look for downloadable ringtones there.
I hope that helped... please rememebr to rate my help! I would appreciate it!
First you have to go to menu>my stuff>tools and utilities>voice memo>and you record a voice. When you are done recording, save it then go to menu>settings>profiles. Now you press the options key on profiles and go to customize and you click. Scroll down to message sound and click on it. Choose audio>my voice>and choose the recording that you want to be for your message. Press options>select. You should then be taken back to your messaging and ringtone settings. press the options>save.
You can txt yourself the sound and when you receive the txt you save it as a ringtone. If you have a computer with bluetooth capability you can send ringtones that you can make yourself through bluetooth. I use create-a-ringtones.com, make my own and transfer them to my phone. If anyone else wants the ringtone I just txt it to them. I just did about 18 ringtones for my husband and he has the motorola adventure v750.
You can tranfer your pics and phone book by using the tools on verizonwireless.com. You will loose your ringtones and games if you have any of those downloaded.
*If you plan on just throwing your old phone away you can report your phone as lost to verizon and they will let you re-download all your ringtones and games to your new phone. But if you do that they will place a block on the seiral number on the old phone so that no one else can use that phone.
For the first part, make sure you sync the phone and are you using after you pick the ringers.
Second Part, I had this problem make sure you press ok i was using other keys like back assuming it would not, what service do you have because most current plans do not charge roaming unless you use more than 50% of your minutes while roaming.
Okay this happen to my phone a while back and chances are it might happen again. but here is what you do.
You need to save all of your contacts to your SIM or smart card, after you do that you need to sit with someone and decide the picture, videos, and ringtones that you want.
After you have all of this decided you ne to bluetooth this to a friend who is paitent and willing to help.
Once you have all the transfers done you need to do a master clear on the phone, (the reset) doen't work. This will delete everything on your phone including the problem. all that is left for you to do is send the pictures and all the other stuff back to your phone. If you have alot of ringtones I suggest you don't upload those.
Motorola doesn't have an answer for this problem but more and more people are experinceing this. Good luck.
