Question about Intel D101GGC Motherboard
I have a Intel D101ggc Motherboard and I am thinking of buying a video card. I know I have 1 PCI Express x16, 1 PCI Express x1, and 2 PCI Slots, and I don't have an agp slot.
The specs say - Graphics Support: PCI Express x16.
Does that mean I can't get a PCI graphics card because its not supported. And most PCIe video cards are not compapatible because of the memory - the motherboard only supports PC2700,DDR PC3200.
So my questions are - can I use a PCI video card on my motherboard and does not compatible memory with the PCIe video card mean it won't work.
Any PCI Express card will do as long as its DDR2, DDR3 is not supported by your motherboard.
You have a choice between ATI or Nvidia graphics cards and your system should support up to 1GB of graphics memory.
Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
