To troubleshoot the issue, please remove the RTC battery and perform a dry boot. Once the dry boot is performed, reseat the RTC battery.
Steps for performing the dry boot is given below:
1. Ensure you bring the unit to minimum configuration.
2. Disable all the external devices including the battery and the AC adapter.
3. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
4. Now boot the notebook with AC power only.
After performing a dry boot, please reseat the Real Time Clock (RTC) Battery. To perform the same, please refer to the steps in the below link:
