I forget my power on password on COMPAQ ARMADA E500 PC notebook

plz tell me how to break it I removed its Lithum battarey But Invain.....

To troubleshoot the issue, please remove the RTC battery and perform a dry boot. Once the dry boot is performed, reseat the RTC battery.
Steps for performing the dry boot is given below:
1. Ensure you bring the unit to minimum configuration.
2. Disable all the external devices including the battery and the AC adapter.
3. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
4. Now boot the notebook with AC power only.
After performing a dry boot, please reseat the Real Time Clock (RTC) Battery. To perform the same, please refer to the steps in the below link:

Note: Please refer to page number 115 of 162 in the above link.
Perform the above steps and check for the occurrence of the issue.

cannot bypass password on e500. Cannot use it, locked up. We do not know the password.

Having trouble with power on password. I made up a password and then when i rebooted my password didnt take. I would like to remove the password all together!!!!! I need HELP FAST!!!!!

Please specify your motherboard details and i will tell you a work around for breaking the password

Best Thing To Do Would BE To Press F9 And Go In To Your Laptop On Safe Mode And Then You Can Get In To Your Admin Control Panel And Change Or Reset Or Take The Password Off Simple Quick And Easy To Do. Unless You Have A Back Up Disc And Press F4 And Put The Stuff On To The Disc You Would Like To Keep When You Press F4 It Reproves All The Programmes Etc.. That You Got On Your Laptop Or Pc And Then You Will Be Able To Save Them On To A Disc So Then You Wont Lose Anything Got Any Other Problems Add Me On Msn Mogga_ov_cham@hotmail.co.uk
If Your Wondering How I Know All this Stuff Its Because I Work In A Place Where People Bring Pcs And Laptops In All the Time With Simler Problems And I Build Computers.
