How to remove scratched quinny sign

Hi Claire,

Nail varnish remover (with acetone) and a soft cloth should do it. Alternatively a kitchen / bathroom cleaner may also remove it - make sure it's not one with granules in it as they may cause scratching to the chassis.

Test the cleaning method on an inconspicuous area of the chassis first to ensure it does not leave a mark. Take care not to get the cleaning fluid used on the fabric as it will cause discolouration.

99 ford freestar cylander 5 misfire and bank2 too lean

Sounds like you have replaced the entire ignition system. Now all that is needed is to realize that the ignition system is not the only thing that can cause a cylinder misfire.

You could have a faulty injector, a blown head gasket, a severe vacuum leak (good possibility with the lean O2 sensor code) burned, broken or bent valves or valve springs...the list goes on......

I would recommend getting the problem at least, diagnosed by a professional that has the training, the information availability, the experience, and the proper equipment to properly diagnose the problem. Once you know for sure what is causing it, then you can decide if you want to try to save some money by fixing it yourself. However, if you continue the way you have been, you could go broke replacing parts trying to figure it out.

I have a price pfister a112.18.1 shower only (no tub), single-handle. It is leaking from the shower faucet. How do I repair?

You have to turn water off to shower and remove handle then cartridge lock ring then there are two washers and srpings that can be popped out with small screwdriver.Lowe's has replacement springs and washers ,be sure to mark position cartridge was because that is very important to reinstall the same way it came out.

Clutch just quit engaging, found small spring in the case/cover, need an exploded view of clutch assembly and a photo of new clutch plates.

For an exploded view of your clutch, go to . The only spring that I can think of in the area is a small srping in the release mechanism but I can't figure how it got inside the case. As for your clutch plates, as long as they've got the oil grooves in them, they're fine. Although they don't look like much, they'll work.

Tub free hits side of washer when trying to spin

1- Clothes load is not balance. 2- Tube is balanced by several springs from the bottom tube to the chassis. If one of these springs is broken or slipped out the tube will lean to onside causing this problem. Check these out.

98 Audi Quattro keys don't srping back after starting the engine

You have a bad Ignition Switch they are known to go out on the 90's audi's.

The part is pretty inexpensive but the labor maybe quite high.

When you start it make sure the key gets back to the proper position otherwise you will burn up your starter and cause another expensive problem.

Weedeater Clutch Spring Replace

Counter man at the local mower repair shop said to use a thin rope. Tried it and it works great. Think I over engineered this problem.
