Question about Sony Cybershot DSC-T200 Digital Camera

1 Answer

My Sony DSC T 200 camera takes ages to start up

The camera used to boot up and be ready to take a shot straight away - but now it can take up to 30 seconds. I have tried replacing the memory stick for a new blank one but that has not solved the problem. Any ideas ??

I found most Sony digital cameras took a little longer time to boot up on the first turn on after replacing battery. You can try turn off, then turn on again, see if it boots up quicker.

They also have the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-H9 Shutter Button Installation Instructions as well!

My cyber shot dsc w5 wont power up unless I want to view previous pics. What do I do with it?

I had exactly same issue with mine w17 and tried so many ways to fix this. Was even ready to buy some new camera instead of this Sony dsc w-17 but then found a way of resetting camera in such way: powerdown and take batteries out. Then hold "power" button for 30 seconds, release and repeat couple of times. It helped
Also if it won't work try contacting Sony online chat support - they seem to be helpful.

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P92

Take the battery out and hold the power button down for 30 seconds.  This will reset the camera.  Put the battery back in and see of camera works properly.  If not, it could be the CCD sensor and Sony may repair it for free.  Call Sony at 800-222-7669.  Might as well give it a shot...a cybershot.

Action shot blur

you seem like you have the problem with the focus button
with action shots,to get a good shot
you must hold down half of the capture button ( the button u press to take a foto)
if successful, you will see a little green dot on the top of the screen.
Your camera is now on focus.
all u have to do is press the button down a little harder and your shot wil be taken straight away.
good luck.

Lens motor is shot. If an older camera- buy a new one a repair will cost nearly as much. If young-[less than a year] send it back

F707 slow to "boot up"

I haven't had any such problems on mine. Have you tried swithching memory cards or re-formatting. With some other cameras such problems are attributable to the memory card.
