I have the same problem "err" message and oven will not work. Have tried unplugging hoping it would reset itself - did not work!

Same problem and Oster support refused to talk to me as I couldn't find the receipt. I really did like my little oven but intend to vote with my feet and never buy another Oster product after their awful customer support. With todays economic crisis affecting all consumer product areas you'd think they'd be a little nicer to their customer base.

Oster model 6248 same problem....ERR and beeping in toaster mode. About 2 yrs old. Bought at Bed Bath and Beyond.

Same problem here. "ERR" message and beeping. Oven won't work. I've tried unplugging and replugging, hitting it, and yelling at it. It worked for less than 1 year. I'm not in love with Oster right now. My model is actually a 6248 but looks virutally identical to this one.

Same problem here, i've had mine for 18 months now. Err and beeping sound... I unplugged too for the night, tried to use it this morning and again - it doesn't work

err message when in toast setting - beeps and goes off. tried unpluging - does not work. let it go and it resets itself in bake mode. argh!!!! it is a little less than a year old.

I have the same issue, digital display says "err" and it beeps, but doesn't work. Mine is also about 11 months old, and I can't find my bill either! Argh! Have also unplugged hoping to reset, and looked for a reset button, but no luck.
