the software for the iriver lplayer is on a small cd but those can tear up macbooks (which slot-load). what should i do?

Unfortunately the iriver software is not compatible with the mac os. I had the same problem so I went to a local internet cafe and used their pc for an hour while I installed the program and downloaded songs. I know it sucks, iriver needs to add mac support.
