File Error on my Polaroid i733

I can take a picture fine, but when i try to view any of the pictures i have taken it comes up with a screen saying "file error" and then freezes up. I've had this camera for about 3 months now and i dont recall this happening before. I dont have a memory card im just using the memory that came with the camera itself. Is there anyway i can fix this so i can view my photos again?

I have this same exact problem. The only differences are that the "File Error" message comes up after the picture was saved for a long time and I have a memory card. This also started after only a month or so of owning the camera.

SOURCE: file error

try a rest on the camera or take it to an authorized dealer for repair. may be simple maybe a tech problem. if it's under warranty, than get your money's worth by taking it back to the dealer to resolve this issue.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( ).

Everytime I plug my Polaroid i733 into the USB Cord to transfer my pictures, it comes up as USB Error and says that is has malfunctioned

Okay could be a program error with windows and that port. If you have a port on your pc SD Mini port take your camera card out and slid it into the PC port SD mini. it "should accept your photos." download them into My picture folder or some where you can remember. My doc, or my downloads. Oh what many for get is the pic's on your camera will be huge. maybe 3Mbs each, so be sure to compress them. Or it will take for ever and a day to email them. Compressing will not damage the Pic quality.
