Re: veltical is not open wade the hole peature

If it is not showing whole vertically means your problem is in vertical output section.

please check

  • supply to vertical output section.
  • any capacitor or low value resistor failure in vertical output section
  • loose contact in vertical output section
  • vertical output ic failure.
  • hope this will help
  • good luck.

It can be repaired if you are handy with electronics stuff repair and can replace parts in circuit board with proper tools.
Please ask chat expert the details about 10 times and 4 times blinking error code and do the repair as per instruction.

The picture wouldn't come up so we opened the back and found a wire that is hanging loose and were not sure where its supposed to go...apparently it looks like it gives power for the picture bulb to work

BE CAREFULL!!! Is it a red wire with a suction cup on the end? If it is, it connects to the top of the picture tube (there is a little hole in the back of the tube at the top). Unplug the set first and under the suction cup you should see two little tabs. Turn the suction cup inside out to expose the little tabs and insert the two little tabs in the hole. You may have to sqeeze them together a little bit. After they are in the hole they should spring out and latch on to the edges of the hole. Let go of the suction cup and allow it to cover the hole and tabs and all. Hope this helps. Thanks and be carefull. This is the high voltage lead.

No picture, no sound

I don't have a listing for your model, so I'll need to research this one a bit. The 7 blinks usually mean a high voltage shutdown though. Check the regulator IC on the power supply board. Once I find the manual for this, I'll try to get you more specifics.
