Logitech mouse and battery changing

I don't know the name of the model but the product number is 831487-0000 and the PID is LZ82527. I can't find away to open the mouse to change the AA battery.

Thanks for your assistance.

If you look at the rear of the mouse, there is a little half circle button. Push that part in a little and you can remove the battery door thats just above that button.
Here is the webpage link to the manual in case you dont know where the button is.

Do not know how to change battery in cordless logitech mouse

There's usually a small door on the bottom of the mouse. Otherwise, using your thumbs put a small amount of pressure on the Logitech logo on the top of the mouse and slide downward away from buttons. Should reveal the battery.
Hope this helps, if not please post the model # of the mouse

How do I change the battery in a logitech wireless battery. I can't seem to figure out how to open it to even see what kind of battery is needed.

For changing the batteries of logitech wireless.I guess a video tutorial will help you out rather than written instructions. Watch it to lean how to replace battery of the logitech cordless mouse ( Logitech MX 1000 Model). If you are having a different model please specify the details of your model.

I need to replace the lcd in my harmony 880 remote control. Where can I get a replacement lcd?

If Logitech cannot assist you with this, you can pick up a replacement LCD screen for about $25 on Ebay. It is a very easy fix. The screen is connected to the logic board with a simple ribbon cable. The grey top of the ribbon cable connector is gently lifted up and off and then 4 pressure-fitted tabs are simply squeezed to lift the LCD panel off the board. Good Luck!

Logitech harmony 890 display is blank

this sounds like it is a hardware issue, try contacting Logitech through e-mail from the website and sending an e-mail in.

try the following before contacting them:
1. Log into the Logitech Harmony Remote Software on your computer
2. Click on the Downloads button at the top-right corner of your screen
3. Click on the Firmware button. Follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade the firmware on your Harmony remote
4. Once the firmware upgrade is complete, click on the Update Remote button
5. Test your remote.
If this doesnt work, provide them with the following to make sure the process goes as smooth as possible:

The PID of the remote:
The P/N of the remote:
The PID of the RF Wireless Extender:
The P/N of the RF Wireless Extender:
Full Name:
Phone number:
Zip/Postal Code:

Please Note: The PID (Product Identification) and P/N (Part Number) for the remote can be found either on the underside of the battery cover, or at the bottom of the battery compartment (the battery might be covering it). Your PID number is a character code with a combination of letters and numbers, starting with either WL, WD, or LZ

Where's the batteries?

I had a similar problem with my battery going dead in my Logitech mouse. There was a "aa" battery located under the rear top cover. it's the part that has the Logitech logo on it. You simply press the button underneath the mouse @ the back that has a LOCK symbol on it & lift off the cover. Put in a new battery & you should be good to go.
