Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

No data to macbook screen

For computers with Mac OS X 10.8 or later, if you have trouble getting your display to work with the computer, access the System Preferences menu and selection the Displays option. Then, press and hold the Option key. In the bottom right corner of the Displays window, you should see a Detect Displays button. Click that button to force the Mac OS to show all the displays, including the macbook's own display.

Otherwise, try resetting the PRAM:
by holding down the Command+Option+P+R keys on your keybord when you turn it on untill you hear the startup chime.

Happy New Year!

You can set these back to defaults if you go to Colorsync, click the "devices" tab, then choose "Display".
Click on your display's name. To the right, you'll see where it says "current profile". Click the little triangle and choose "Set to Factory". Voila!

My macbook screen keeps going off but the macbook is still running it occurs

The screen sleep is set for a different period than the hard disk sleep. This can be changed in the Energy Saver Preference Pane.
1. Launch System Preferences
2. Select Energy Saver (its icon is a CFL bulb)
3. Select Battery or Power Adapter settings. The upper slide allows you to set the elapsed time until your computer sleeps, while the lower slide allows you to adjust the elapsed time for the display to sleep. There are several chackboxes to further refine when your computer or its display sleeps to save power.

One, try no password, leave it blank. Two, try the shortname ( the current logged in user next to the house ). Call and ask for a manager and ask for a discount. You can change the password, but you need the DVDs it came with.

Let me know, done it a million times.
