On the roller itself the gear is usually attached with a sleeve that has 1 or more hex worm screws. If you can see them, find an appropriately sized Allen wrench to torque these screws down. If there are no screws on the sleeve, your laminator will likely need to be serviced by the manufacturer or an authorized service person.

The front rollers on my Ultima 65 laminator are not turning. I have removed the panels and can see that the chain is moving along, but it is not turning the roller.

IF the chain is moving then you need to check the shafts that the gears connect to and if they are moving then the roller pads have come loose from the shaft and need replaced.

How do I unjam it?

first, remove both rollers with the film on them, then I usually cut the film between the red/orange rollers and the rear gray rollers, this allows you to run the laminator in either forward or reverse to unwrap the laminator, there is not exact science here, just use common sense and don't use anything sharp up against the rollers. I jammed the laminating machine, so I unscrewed and opened the machine...but now I don't know how to roll out the paper? Please help me find a way to take this out without breaking the machine!

Carefully try to turn the roller one direction and then the next. If they move, you will see the feed direction the paper loaded from. Carefully move the rollers in the opposite direction letting the paper unwind. Do not force the gears. Hopefully the paper is not fused to the rollers.

I have a fellowes laminitor and it will not feed

If the motor is running, then the cog that drives the roller system may have failed. Laminators built today are made with plastic (nylon) roller drive cogwheels that crack. Especially if the fed media is too thick. Put the machine into run mode and feed a single piece of card (a playing card will do) into the feed slot. Lightly hold the card and see if you can feel the card moving. To check if the motor is in reverse, feed the card into the output slot.

If you are handy with a screwdriver, then with it disconnected, remove the lid (about six screws underneath) and check the rollers for old lamination sheets that could be stuck to one of them. This would limit the feed gap between the rollers, preventing you from putting your media in.

The front rollers on the laminator will manually move but will not roll when motor is turned on.

look at the transmission chain between the motor and the rollers maybe it is broken.

Paper rolled on heater roller. How do I remove?

I fix roll laminators for a living. Its best with GBC machines to remove wraps where the film is stuck to the roller hot. trying to remove ilm adhered to the roller cold can not jusst remove the film but the rubber roller surface. Do note GBC heat rollers espically the red ones are over 500 bucks each:( Its easy to damage those rollers making the machine junk....
