Hi, This is a gas dryer? UNPLUG the dryer! You will find what you need behind the front lower panel. You can remove this by using a flat blade and releasing the two clips that hold the panel in place. First thing you need to checkis the fuse (white in color) located on the blower housing. Check to see if it has continuity. If that checks ok, You can plug the dryer back in and start it in normal cycle. Watch and see if the ingnitor glows orange. If it glows and you get no flame before the ignoitor shuts off, you will need to change the coils on top of the gas valve.
I hope this helps some. If I can help you further, please let me know.

Thanks
Vic

Oh, On a gas dryer, the burner is inside the dryer below the drum. The front lower panel will come off so that you can see the burner. There are two clips located in the crease right below the door.

Once you get the panel off, you can start the dryer and watch to see if the burner ignites. If it does glow but then shuts off before the flames comes on, then you will need to changes the coils on top of the gas valve. If the ignitor does not light, you will need to check the fuse for continuity located on the blower housing or unplug the ignitor dlocated left side of the burner, and see if you are getting 120V. If there is voltage going to the ignitor but it doesn't glow, change the ignitor.

    Hope this helps.

Where to find fuses. My dryer is not heating up.

Does your dryer have power? If yes, then check (1) the flow of air outside the house from your dryer tube and (2) your circuit breaker panel for each circuit in the house (I've not seen fuses/breakers built into dryers -- though that could change). Then check (3) your heating element, (4) thermostat, (5) high-temp thermal cutoff switch, and (6) for debris in the air flow path to / from from the centrifugal fan.

Replaced heating element/worked for 10 min now doesnt

Howdy: Check the thermostat on the inside in the back. If unpluged or lint is clinging to it , the unit will shut off heat. Please inspect. Good luck - It also could be defective. - Doug

Electric kenmore 90 series working but no heat?

Most likely that is the heat element. Some dryers have the element in the front but most of the time yours can be accessed from the rear.

heating element is located at the back of the dryer. if you can see a big coil of wires like a long spring laid back and fort to a duct , that is the heating element.
