Make sure you have the remote wire plugged in really good its the blue one coming out of the amp

also make sure its plugged into the right wire from the back of the stereo the remote wire and the antenna wire are almost identical but the antenna wire should have a little white on it

My 2002 Jetta TDI wont Crank

Check fuses first. Crank/start fuse. IF that's good. Find the starter and hit it with a hammer or rod/pry bar as some one tries to start it. If it starts, replace the starter. It has a dead spot in it. If it doesn't, try jumping the small wire to the big wire. It will arc, but if it doesn't turn replace the starter. If it does turn, check the small wire for power when turning the key to start. No power, go to the crank fuse and check for power when trying to start, still no power. Then it is a break in the wire from there to the ignition switch. Or the ignition switch is bad.

Back turning signals brake lights and running lights wont work but bulbs are good and connections are clean

Check your fuse block for blown fuses. If you have a test light check to see if you have power coming to the rear light assembly with your lights turned on. If not you either have a blown fuse or possibly a bad ground, or pinched wire

1999 Mazda millenia Electrical issues

the first thing to do is to remove the wires your sister conected, tape them seperately, these wires are power and ground wires and power the light in the visor mirror , they can not touch, so make sure they are apart and not touching any metal surface, tape them, one at a time.

there must be a blown fuse, did you check all the fuse boxes? there is one inside and one under the hood. start with this .

Taillights wont work 1984 GMC sierra

I would start with the fuses,Check under the dash in the fuse box. Make sure all fuses are good. If there is a blown fuse then replace it, If the fuse blows then you may have a short in the wiring to tail lights, also check wire connections at the rear bumper area.
I have seen the connector go bad, test power going into and coming out of connector to tail lights. if there is a trailer hitch on this truck then check where the hitch wiring was connected , check for bad connections.
If the front park lights work then it may not be the light switch but rather a bad wire. Here is a wiring diagram to help you.
have a good day and i hope this is helpful. If there is something else i can help with please let me know.3_6_2012_5_22_32_pm.gif

Hazard lights, break lights, turn signal lights wont work. Ive changed all the bulbs and they still wont work.

have you checked to see if you have any power to lights. it might be a blown fuse! if you do not have a book on where the fuses are call auto-zone and they will tell you. or pull one fuse at a time to check. check to see if any power to bulbs. good-day ! if you have problem it might be a ground wire to lights.

I have the dual amp xpa 2500 and i ran all the wires and everything but the indicator light wont turn red nor green what can cause that problem?

Check all the wiring again. If you can use a multimeter, make sure your power wire is getting power at the amp. Also, check to make sure your ground is good. Also, check the remote wire for 0.5 amps when the radio is on. This will make sure it sends the signal to turn the amp on. Also, check all your fuses. Make sure to put the fuse in your power wire. Hope this helps.

It wont get power

Check the primary fuse on the positive amp wire usually located near the + battery post. Also check any onboard fuses. If these check OK, make sure the remote lead has 12V+ on it when the head unit is turned on. If these all check out, the amp is most likely defective.

I have a 2000 nissan maxima and my electronic locks wont work, my interior light wont come and now my rear defogger wont come on, what is going on with my veh?

You should not be blowing fuses but did you check the fuses? If you have some blown fuses you might be having an alternator going bad and putting too much voltage out (very rare). I just had this happen on a Hyundai where the tail lights and head lights kept blowing every few months. They all took turns at different times. The only fuse she had go was for the radio (that's when it had to be fixed lol). The charging system can be checked for free at local parts store but make sure you turn electronic devices on and asked them if you can rev the motor to 4K RPMs while they have there voltage meter on the system. You also have relay that switch all the devices you are talking about. They are fed by fusible links(not in fuse box but under the hood by the relays) for the hi amp/ thick gauge wires that feed these devices. The low amp/small gauge wires that turn these relays on and are connect directly to your device switches are the ones that have the normal fuses in the fuse panel. If you checked all the fuses and they are good then one would have to check the fusible links and the wires feeding these links. these come directly from a power bridge that gets power directly from a connection to the battery. These connection don't just come loose by them selves and it's corrosion only happens at the battery. If the connectors at the battery were an issue then you would loose all accessory power including radio but check those wires as well.

Headlights wont come on

if you have a test light check for power TO the fuse.there should be power at the fuse at all times.to do this clamp test light to a good ground under the dash and touch the top of the fuse on ether side, power should be at both sides.if you got power, remove the headlight switch, test for power at ether the red, yellow or brown wire,if you have power here, turn on head lights unplug each head light test for power at each socket, test the ground at each socket to do this, clamp your test light to the POSITIVE side of the battery touch the other end to the ground side of the light socket if the test light does NOT light, fix the ground wires this procedure is the quickest so do this first than try the steps above

Dashboard wont light up

So, this is not a 2000 Hyundai Sonata? I used to own a 2000 Honda Civic and I believe those lights get power from a fuse inside the fuse/relay panel located on the driver's side under the dash. Check all your fuses. If all fuses are good, you've got a wiring problem - check for power & ground at each bulb. Obviously, if you don't have power to them, it's a power distribution/wiring issue. If you do have power to them but no ground, it's still a wiring issue.
