I am helping a friend with his books/statements, and we bought a second fax, one for his house and moved the panasonic to mine. I think I have all the settings right, but it won't let me make long distance faxes -- asks for a customer access code, and my friend doesn't have a clue. Can you help? He doesn't know where the manual is.

What does the machine say your memory level is? If it is at 100 percent, you do not have any faxes in memory. All fax machines will hold a job if your out of ink. When the machine detects ink it will, I would say 98 percent of the time, print out any waiting faxes.
