Power Supply Problem

You need to find out which board the led driver resides on. The main board sends a signal to the power supply board to turn on the LED's Look on the power supply board for swollen capacitors. The power supply board could very well be defective. I would also check the Zsus board and the Xsus boards. If either of these boards fail it could also cause the power supply board to fail.
You can unplug the connectors to the zsus board at the power supply and try to turn the set on. If it does turn on, the power supply board is ok. If not, the power supply is bad. If the power supply board is ok, undo the plug connectors that power the Xsus board and hook up the plug connectors to the Zsus board. Turn the set an and see if it stays on or shuts down. Part numbers should be on the boards. Zenith is really LG Corp. Their customer support number is 1800-243-0000.

Power supply board is dead,the board that where the power a/c cord plug into it.Replaced the power supply board will solved this problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Either power supply problem or blown surface mount fuse on the main board. First check all SMD fuses on the main board, and the fuse on the power supply board. If the power supply board fuse has blown replace it and try again, if it blows again you need to replace the power supply. If the power supply seems OK check all SMD fuses on the main board. There are 7 on the V3 and about a dozen on the V4 / V5 / V6.

in the printer there is a power supply board.there is a same type of 3amp fuse on the power supply board.if there is any kind of overheating in the power then the fuse in the plug and fuse on the power supply board blows out.in some cases only fuse on power supply board blows out.this fuse is placed on the board for safety reasons.because in the older model printers when this short circuit problem was happening at that time whole board used to blow out.so in the new model of printer a fuse is placed on the board ,so if any overheating or any power outage or any short circuit occurs.the fuse blows out instead of whole power supply board. You just need to replace the fuse on the power supply board by disassembling the printer.the power supply board is the green color square shaped board.its the board to which your power wire of printer is connected. the fuse is available at any local electric hardware shop.its not any special kind of fuse. The exact same thing happened to my D815EAA2. In my case an overheating power supply destroyed the board. Do the following:

1. Check the power supply you replaced it with works on another system.
2. If it still doesn't work with your board, the board will need to be replaced.

Its been a while since i worked on that power board. But I believe you are refering to the orange diode that runs into the single connector for the video board next to the power supply. I replaced mine with a 1n914 diode after replacing the 2200uf lytic cap and the tv fired right up.
