Question about JVC CH-X1100 12-Disc CD Changer
I have a jvc CH-X11 12 disc changer.. On the remote i get a r-8 error it will not play any discs noe eject...Any solutions?..It came factory in my 97 z28

Make sure the cds are the right way up.
Try listening to the cd mech to determine if the cds are being loaded.
If the mech is going through the motions then the problem could be the lens is dirty, the laser has failed or the spin motor is faulty.
if there is no sound of the cds being loaded, it could be a power supply problem. Try a reset or just unplug the changer then re connect it.

Nope. Its getting to the end of its days. I'm guessing by your description you tend to play your music loudly like I do. Well when you do that it causes vibration. Vibration+electronics=Short life span.

The CH-X11 needs to be paired with a JVC CD controller. See the downloadable manual at
This unit does not broadcast at the lower FM band.
