The eco light is flashing constantly on my Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher, it is making a noise like a pump is running continously, but the unit will not operate. Can you give me some possible faults and...

Hi,

The symptoms on a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher:
  • eco light is flashing constantly;
  • noise on pump running continuously;
  • but the unit will not operate.
Possible corrective actions include:
  • water level - pls check incoming water pressure, filter, water level sensor, water valve;
  • base/bottom overflow sensor - there is a float switch in the base of the machine inside a small plastic dish. Behind the kick panel, access through a metal lid/panel/cover secured by 2 small screws. Dry completely the area;
  • Air/dry/ventilate the unit/system for a couple of days;
  • reduce incoming water pressure.
Hope that this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Why is water leaking from front of bottom freezer?

Your refrigerator defrost on the average about every 8 hours so the water that accumulates during defrost has to go somewhere right? You have a defrost drain blockage.
We need to see if the water is overflowing the condensate drain tray or if the blockage is in the turn the drain leads down back of your refrigerator. Much more on this page=> Leaking Refrigerators! Not all blocke drains act the same when your refrigerator leaks so please ask should you have questions. Please provide the model number found around the fresh food section door frame. Kenmore model numbers look like this example=> 321.1234567 If you run into any problems along the way of repair please let me know, Thanks, Sea Breeze

My maytag washer is overflowing and won't go into

Hello there and welcome to fixya
This is a fairly common problems on these and other machines
Water-inlet valve A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve. Water-level switch A defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off. So the machine overflows. This switch senses the water level in the clothes tub. It's usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. You can either clear any obstruction in the tube or replace the water-level switch.
Please feel; free to post me back any comments on repair help or testing and removal ian installation if needed ill be glad to help you ok
Best regards Mike

Dishwasher not filling

The water float switch, located on the inside bottom of the machine, may be stuck in the up(off) position keeping the water valve from functioning. This is a safety device that turns the water valve off when the machine fills in order to keep it from overflowing.

The water inlet solenoid mounted on the inlet valve under the bottom front may also be malfunctioning not allowing the water valve to open and fill the machine. If electricity is present at the solenoid terminals when the machine is in fill cycle, then check the solenoid coil to see if it is open(no continuity). Also, the timer may not be calling for water/ sending voltage to the inlet valve solenoid.

I would start by manually operating the water float valve a few time to see if that helps. You should hear a microswitch click each time the valve stem is moved up or down by the float. If not, check to see if voltage is getting to the float switch and the water inlet valve solenoid.

Most(if not all) machines have a safety cutoff switch which activates when the door is opened. That switch could also be malfunctioning not allowing voltage to the water inlet valve solenoid in fill cycle.

L have a samsung front loader and the water wont stop unless l turn power off at the socket! it shows a oe code

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. OE is overflow error which occurs when the water level is too high. It can be cleared by turning POWER switch OFF. Water is drained prior to POWER switch OFF. The tub is drained for 2 minutes if a frequency of more than 25 KHz is detected. If the issue remains then clean the drain pump located at the front lower panel. Please revert back for further assistance.

Thanks

Winterhalter gs502 dishwasher-error code 15?What's mean fault code 15?

The float switch/level sensor in the rinse boiler has not activated. This could be a faulty solenoid not letting the water in(assuming the isolating valve is turned on), or a faulty float switch/level sensor. This would result in water overflowing through the rinse arms and the overflow in the rear of the wash tank.

Washer overflows I think around the tub and spills out only in the front area. This is the second time it has done it. I don't know what is causing it...thankfully, most of the water runs under the wall...

If your washer is overfilling, check the water inlet valve and water level switch. A defect in the water-inlet valve may mean that it's no longer able to shut off completely when the electricity has been turned off to it. If this occurs, the valve may leak and drip water into the clothes tub. In time, the water may accumulate substantially. If this happens, you need to replace the valve.Also a defect--or an obstruction--in the water-level switch may mean that it can't tell the water to shut off.

My Dishlex Global 450 leaks, I have narrowed it down to the door seal and have replaced this. It appears to overfill during it's operation BUT not evry time? Sometimes it soaks the floor other times no...

Mine did the same thing. I cleaned the door seals, mostly the bottom one which collected a lot of grime & didn't provide a solid seal.

Hope this helps.
