My sony viao pcg fx-170 wont turn on, only a blink when i turn it on. what should be the main problem?

You most likely have RAM problems.
Try reseating the RAM module/s.
If it still doesn't work, the RAM may be faulty, test the RAM in another computer or take it to your friendly computer shop to test them.

I have a sony viao all in one desktop model num pcg-252l i replaced the screen and i trun it on and it lights up but it stays all white


A white screen meant the LCD controller was not working - what you saw was the backlight without polarization in front of it. If the cpu fan isn't spinning, that means the system board doesn't detect the right startup conditions. You probably connected the inverter improperly and it may be preventing booting, or you may have damaged a component with static.

How do you interface or connect the smart board to the laptop . After the connection use the Fn key + f4/f5/f6/f7 to activate the displays .

I need to replace my hard drive in my Viao PCG-GR370 laptop. Is it possible to put in a larger than 30 GB drive?

My sony viao PCG-81114L screen does not come on


When you restart it pres F8 while it reboots and see if anything comes up...If that dont wrk try pressing the appropriate key to get into the bios and check to see if video was disabled.
