If you hear noise coming for hard drive that sounds like it is trying to eject the disc but cannot, try facing the console down (with power on) with the disc slot towards the floor and press eject. It may take a few times before the disc catches.
Gotoyoutube and type "Diasembley ps3 console and or drive"
or " removing a jammed disk ps3" follow the tutorial and you should be able to extract the disc
and clear the jam. yourself . It's not hard to do . just take
your time .
I will advice you clean the lens of your ps3 player, cleaning the lens of the ps3 player will make the ps3 player read the disc, if the problem is not solve after cleaning the lens, it means, you will need to replace the lens on your ps3, the lens might be weak that it can no longer read any disc or play any game. the two options above should fix the problem of your ps3.
This happened to me a while back and I got it out. You have to hold the eject button and use another disc and put it in a little bit and push the stuck disc around with the other disc you have. The stuck disc will then get pushed into the right position that your PS3 will recognize there is a disc inside and then you can push eject and the disc will come out.
On the most CD/DVD-players there's an hole which you can stick a thin metalwire (for example an straightened paperclip) to eject the disc. Look on the side/front of the player if you can find a little hole (app. 1-2mm).
trying sticking something thin and firm in there gently.. try to feel for the bottom side of the disc. Press the eject button and press up a few times. This may take awhile. But Be sure to be very Very gentle while doing this.
Push and hold the eject button for at least 10 seconds to force an eject of the disc. After the disc ejects, turn the system off and then back on to resume play.
Hope this helps. Good luck.
