Question about LG 32LX1 32 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
My LG HDTV suddenly is having a problem with the picture being too large for the screen...stats for baseball games that normally show on the top or bottom of the screen (depending upon the Channel) are cut off, and all print is cut off on both sided. I called the cable operator and they say there is nothing wrong with my cable service or signal...it is the TV. I have tried the settings on the remote (ratio setting) and nothing is working...what now?
Normallly, if the picture size button on the remote for the television does not achieve the desired affect, then, a cable box or a satelite box is where the change needs to be made.
Some Motorola Cable receivers need to be set up in the menu to go to a wide screen or zoom mode when an analog signal is detected. There may be a format button on the remote.
Some Dish Network boxes have Size buttons on their remotes and also in their main menu.
It's difficult to determine the repair without knowing the types of the peripherals.
Hope this helps.
