Can I Install iP2600 using USB 1.1 conectivity?

My computer has USB 1.1 technology. I want to install canon pixma iP2600 which has USB 2.0 How can I do it? will it backward install?

What will happen is the printer will slow down to the speed of the 1.1 USB technology. Try running the setup and see what happens. I did this in the past and I believe I did get it to work.

Yes, you can install it to the USB 1.1 computer. Because USB 2.0 technology is backwards compatible with USB 1.1. And most of USB 2.0 devices were tested to work with 1.1.

The only thing here is that the printer will not function as fast as it should be.
