Want to know how to remove the bottom wash arm.

I want to know how to remove the bottom wash arm. The plastic nut onto the arm just turns and doesn't come off. The plastic insert looks like it threads into the metal top on the wash arm. It would seem like it has been stripped and doesn't thread itself off. This has been apart numorous times before. Not by me , but by a service person.

2006 trailblazer washer wiper nozzle removal replacement

the nozzles just snap in from the top.... you first pop the cover at the pivot point of the wiper arm to access the nut. remove said nut. remove the wiper arms (a puller is very useful to avoid damage) , then Remove the air inlet grille panel (held in with pushpins and small 1/4in or 9/32in bolts. disconnect the hoses and squeeze the two tabs that hold them in. because they snap in from the top, i have seen people crush and brake their old nozzles with needle nose pliers. pull the hose through the hole and attach it to the new nozzle...... NOT the recommended procedure, rent or buy a puller that looks like a small two jaw gear puller to save yourself a big headache (mine was only $45). good luck

94 Chevy Lumina APV Wiper arm removal

Lift your hood and look for the end of the wiper arm that is attached to the vehicle and pry the end cap off to exspose the nut, remove the nut with a ratchet and socket and use a small gear puller to pull the wiper arm right off of the shaft. Don't try to pry it off from the bottom because you'll break the plastic cowl underneath and still won't have the arm removed.
The motor is usualy located under the vent that runs along the bottom of the windshield...

I hope this helps.....

How can i remove the wiper arms from a 2001 tahoe

at the base of the arms there are plastic nut shaped covers. Remove those. Then remove the nuts that hold the wiper arms to the posts. push down and pull up about where the wiper arm pivot is. it may take several attempt but the wiper arm should release from the post. If it doesn't you will need to get a wiper arm puller. You can usually find them at your local parts store.

Drivers side windshield wiper does not move.

remove the cover at base of the wiper arm, where it connects to the vehicle. usually all thats wrong, is the nut which attaches the arm to the stem on the wiper transmission, has come loose. this usually happens when the wipers are turned on while the blades are frozen to the windshield. check to see if the stem turns and the wiper arm does't move. turn the wipers off, and position your wiper arm in its' parked position. then tighten this nut. if this isn't the problem , then it.s furthur inside, either the wiper transmission, or the wiper motor, and you will probably need to have it looked at by a pro. good luck!

How do you remove the rear wiper arm on a 2008 town & country

1. Remove the cap by inserting a flathead screwdriver on the side of the wiper arm to pop it off
2. Remove the nut holding the arm to the motor shaft
3. Now for the hard part, put the flathead screwdriver between the wiper arm and the base of the motor shaft. You should be able to wedge it in there so that you can put slight pressure on the bottom of the wiper arm and the base of the motor. Now wiggle the wiper arm and pull up while you turn the flathead screwdriver to help pop it off. Just keep wiggling and turning the screwdriver to pop the arm off.
4. Once the arm is off it should be obvious why it was so hard to get it off. There are threads on the motor shaft that tap wiper arm when you crank the nut down on the arm. That's why it doesn't just fall off when you take the nut off.
5.. Put the nut on tightly so that it creates the new threads on the new wiper arm.
6. Test it.
7. Put the cap back on.

Top rack wont clean

Take the top rack out of the machine. The remove the wash arm they usually unscrew by turning a nut in the middle and wash under running water also check that the holes are free from any food deposits.Replace and give it a test this should work now.The other possibility is that the bottom arm is not fitted correctly,in wich case remove the bottom arm and fit properly.
Let me know how it went.
