Question about Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60 Digital Camera
Y - I have the same issue. Apparently there's a problem with some of the batteries that were shipped. As stated by someone else here - I called casio and they promised I would have a new battery within 5 business days. I was on the phone less that 5 minutes. Here's the contact info: email: email@example.com or call 800-435-7732. (9-8 EST).

Apparently this is a normal battery problem for the lithium ion battery, especially with Casio. Call customer support (surprisingly simple), tell them that its flashing red instead of staying solid, and they'll send you a new one in the mail. 1-800-435-7732 -- thanks for the help! one of the easiest technology problems i've had to solve

I think it's the charger's problem. I fixed this problem with my own DIY charger (LM3622). It works now :)

Call Casio. I called them earlier today and they simply asked for my address and serial number off my camera so they could send me a new battery. They've recognized that there is a flaw in some of their Li-Ion batteries and they simply ship you a new one via UPS. It's phenomenal. 1-800-435-7732

I called Casio on the numbers included on the pink sheet. They said it was a battery issue and they're shipping a new one to me for free.

I have the SAME problem!! My camera worked fine, I've only had it for a year. I used it one day at Disneyland and then a month later I was going to use it again and went to charge my battery and the charger light just flashes .... i tried plugging it directly into the wall instead of a strip and it didnt help!!! Does anyone have any other info on this problem?

Is your charger plugged into a power strip? Try plugging it into the wall instead. It worked for me. It just blinked a few times then it began charging!
