I have been having this proble also. i can tell when they answer because the timer starts and it gives me the option to turn on the speaker phone. that is how i deal with it. i can turn on my speaker phone then turn it off and i can hear just fine. it doesnt do this all the time, jus tmore then i like. i know this isnt the true fix, but it may help.

Hi. I'll try to explain but my english is not so good so please forgive me if my writing is too messy. I had the same problem and I discovered that the speaker system is very fragile. In my case the earpiece broke down because the phone fell down from about 2 feet but landed precisely on one of the upper corners, so when i decided to disassemble the phone to see what was going on I discovered that the speaker has two wires soldered to the "mainboard" but the back of the speaker also has to make contact with the board, so the problem was just that the speaker was NOT making contact with the "mainboard". I Just had to move it to the right position and "voila" the speaker was up and running again. No changing pieces, no soldering, Just moving a bit the earpiece, pretty simple, the only tricky part is to dissasemble the phone, you'll have to look up on the web how to do it and be cautious and patient. One final note, lately I've realized that my work was not so good because sometimes the speaker stops working but with a little subtle hit it's running again so I decided not to disassemble the phone again, it happened like two or three times but the last time was about 5 days ago. I hope this can be helpful to a lot of people with the same problem. Bye! Keep enjoying your sciphone!

You may have accidentally turned the volume right down. Try calling someone and when they answer, toggle up the volume using the navigation button.

How to I turn the universal volume on a Norton Networks T7316E Phone?

Have you tried to call the phone and adjust the volume on the set while the call is coming in? I think the only way you can adjust the ringer volume is if the phone is ringing.

CAN'T HEAR MY PHONE RING WHEN SOMEONE CALLS ME I HAVE TO PUT THE PROFILE ON VIBRATE

Each of your profiles can be set to different ring tones and different volumes, so whatever profile you have your phone set to, make sure you have it on a ring tone you can hear, and make sure the volume is turned up. Let me know if this doesn't work.

We cant hear the phone ring in our office now!

Call your phone from another phone. Don't answer it. Press you volume up/down button. Up makes the ring louder and down makes the ring softer. I bet someone turned you ring volume down. Once it is set it stays there. God Bless. Jerry
