Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player

Some songs sound lifeless on my e280r

When I load some of my cds (CCR, Led Zeppelin, ...) onto my e280r they sound lifeless (as though they are missing a channel or lower volume level). Is there a way to get consistant volume levels and excellent music quality from cds when converting them to mp3s and putting them on my e280r?

There are many settings in Windows Media Player for Ripping music. Make sure yours are set to WMA with 192kbps or higher..

Windows Media Player>Tools>Options>Rip Music (Copy CD).

Best of Luck.

Hello. We are trying to get instructions for this player but have not been able to find any. The seller supplied very poor instructions and we have not been able to download any songs onto the mp3 player...

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Hi, I am trying to move my Ipod songs to my itunes...

One thing you can do is burn all the songs from your old computer's iTunes onto CDs, then re-upload them to your iTunes on your new computer. It sounds ridiculous that there's not a better way, but so far that's the only method I've found that's worked.

I cannot get windows xp media player to load anything to my GPX.

I have a gpx mw3847 and I load songs by opening up My Computer, finding my gpx mw3847 and opening it. Then I go to MY Music where I have my MP3 songs and just drag or copy the ones I want over to my Player. I don't use Windows media player to load songs no any of my players

Adding Songs from CDs onto my MP3 Player

If you're using Windows, then use Windows Media player to rip your music into WMA. If you don't want to do that, use CDdex to rip your music from CD to MP3. The problem probably lies in whatever program your using to rip your music. To your player.

My cds

tell ya what:

use iTunes or WMP to rip the songs of your cd.
load these ripped songs onto ur player..

WMP generates WMA files while iTunes generates AAC files by default
iTunes can be customized to produce mp3 files instead
