Frigidaire front load washer GLTF2940FS barely drains at all. Hose is clear of debris and properly positioned in house drain (6 to 8 inches). Is there a drain pump filter that is accessible from the back?...

Yes, there is a filter on your machine. If you look in from the back, on the bottom of the tub is a hose coming off. Remove the hose from the tub section and inside of it you will find the filter.

My frigidaire front laod washer has an E20 error message.

E20 error is known for pump out issue. The first thing I recommend is to take off the front bottom cover(below the door) tilt the washer back some, remove the clamps and hoses from the drain pump.It should be on your right hand side.Check the pump and hose to remove the clogging. This tends to be a common problem with Frigidaire front loaders. Now when you all done with that put it back together and do a test run.

How to unclog drain hose/pump? my front loader

First of start by checking the rubber gasket seals around the door and making sure those are good and clean and dry. Then inspect the barrel itself. My daughter loves to leave scraps of paper in her pockets that then get stuck in my front loader. Clear any debris from the barrel. Does your machine have a small front access panel or back access to get to the filter? Most front loaders have some sort of filter on them apart from the barrel. If you can find this part, it is a common culprit. Mine is a tube shaped basket with a front access panel on this one. On the front loader before this one is was back panel accessable under the drum. when you check these have a bucket and some thing mop up with handy, towels, mop, etc. One other thing to consider is the drain hose from the machine. I have flushed mine using a garden hose in the yard and used a little bleach.

E20 Error - how do I access the inside to check for blocks?

Plug off the mains. First drain out all your water by lowering the exit hose into a bucket or drain. You have to look for screws below the front kick-panel, the panel comes down & out. (You may find the drain hose here, on left) The pump is on the right side. Be prepared for dirty water. Inside the big flexible tube (coming from the tub bottom) is the filter, be prepared to find all sorts of junk here, clean out. Examine your pump also, clean out the impeller. Carefully refit all. Your machine would be fine. Don’t wait for the machine to jam to look into your filter.

I have a 2 year old frigidaire front load washer.  The spin cycle starts, but only runs really slow.

all washers must drain before will go into high spin.is your's draining?the front loader type's of washers are good for getting the pumps blocked up with stuff that was in our pockets etc....too get to the pump remove the bottom front panel.the pump is the white or tan unit with two hoses to it and two wires on the right side of the washer..there are some bolts retaining the pump to the washer floor.remove and remove hose and drain into a bucket.then clean out pump.if you turn off water at house fill hose's you could put in spin at that point to test.then put all back together.if you need more advise you can email th-u fixya. Issue with front loader going through spin cycle

you can try removing the lower acess panel(2 screws along the bottom of front) behind the panel youll see the pump assy mounted to the right, disconnect the hoses and check for debris in the hose assy. the machine will not spin if it cant get rid of water, and it cant get rid of water with a clogged hose. very commom.UNPLUG UNIT FIRST PUMP WIRES ALWAYS LIVE!!!!!!!

Front Loader Frigidaire will not drain model no. LTF530FSO

check to make sure all hoses are not clogged - our washer hose before the pump was clogged due to washing a rug that had deteriorating rubber backing - would not drain until I flushed out the hose that goes from the tub t the pump.

Kenmore front loader washer

First if you have a wet vac pull the drain hose out of the drain spout and use the vac to pull the water out of the washer through the drain hose.If not you will need a pair of radiator hose clamps from the auto parts store. Pull the screws from the lower panel at the front of the washer and remove it.in side you will see a rubber hose coming down from the tub to the drain pump. Put the radiator hose clamp there if you didn't have a shop vac.On the front of the pump is a round part with a handle turn that and remove the pump filter .Clean any foreign objects out of the pump and look inside the pump to make sure no impeller blades are broken if any are you will have to replace the pump. put the filter back in and tighten it. If you had to use the hose clamp remove it now.reassemble and don't forget to give the tech his four boxes if this fixes it
