Question about Logitech 9311570403 Mouse

2 Answers

Dead Micro-switch Dose Logitech or anyone else do repairs to Logitech mice. My T-CH11 seems to have a dead micro-switch. I have had many mice over the years and this model is by far the best on my wrist. I know your going to tell me to just go buy a new one; and that would be fine, except Logitech no longer make this model. Can it be refurbished? And if so, where?

Unless the mouse uses a real oddball microswitch, it would be fairly simple to unsolder the bad switch and replace it with a new one. I have done this on many mice. You can check with computer shops in your area and see if any of them might try the repair. (A TV shop could also do it, but they're not likely to have a few old mice lying around to take a replacement switch from, while a computer shop probably would.) I have no idea what labor rate the shop would charge, but it would certainly exceed the cost of a new mouse. (The shop I formerly worked at would have charged $20, but this was 5 years ago.) However, it might be worth the cost if what you have can't be replaced with something comparable.

If you have an electronics shop in your area I would suggest to go to them cause if the component is a somewhat common item then they wouuld have it and they could replace it. Problem is that the cost of the item would be cheap but the labor could be pricey so get all the costs upfront if they can repair it. Hope this helps.

It sounds like the micro switch needs replacing inside the mouse. At the end of the day it is probably cheaper and less hassel to go out and buy a new mouse.

T-ch11 driver

Use mw9421enu.exe for the old Trackman Marble T-CH11. Newer mouseware versions do not fully support the Trackman Marble. Well, the mw9791enu.exe driver set works, except no picture of the T-CH11 model is displayed so a generic mouse is all you see. Use the mw9421enu.exe set to operate the T-CH11 with Windows XP.

Sunbeam SMW5500 micro/convection oven shorted out when opening door

You are decribing a typical Door Safety Switch problem. The Door Safety Switches has Failed. The Door Safety Switch is designed to shut down the Micro in the event the Micro is still cooking when the door is being opened. The first "Click" of the switch cuts off the "Cook". If it does not cut off the "Cook", the second "Click" blows the power. Otherwise it would "Cook" with the door open, and I need not to tell you how DANGEROUS that could be. It first Tripped the Circuit Breaker which supplies power to the Microwave. After Re-Setting the Breaker the same thing happened except this time the Micro is DEAD- not even a light working. Yes, there is a line FUSE inside the Micro. You however need to address the Door Switch SHORT before replacing the fuse. If not, it will just Blow The Fuse Again, and Again, until the Short is corrected.
Call around, ask How much to replace a Door Safety Switch.
Good Luck!

See if the mouse has a small reset button. You may have to use a pen or something like it to push and hold the button for a few seconds to reset the mouse. That works for me.
