Question about Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E Front Load Washer

1 Answer

Error Message Washer is loaded properly, nothing is in the door. Energy Efficient soap was added. The washer says it is paused. When I push the start/ pause button all the lights turn on and it gives me an error message. I have tried unplugging the washer and resetting it but it still gives me that message. I have also tried unloading the washer. It is possible that soap was added twice. In that case would there be too much soap in it?

Why does my GE washer turn off during a cycle?

Hi,
I purchased a 4.8 cu. ft. High-Efficiency Top Load Washer with Steam in Metallic Carbon, ENERGY STAR.
I had issues when I used the machine for the first time. I started by loading some clothes and then the detergent, bleach and softener into the respective dispensers. I used the smart dispenser for the detergent, there are 2 detergent dispensers. Then I waited and ended up with water and a machine that would not spin .I kept getting the error message " Sensing " and it made light clicking sounds but was told that this was normal. I then waited 40 minutes and still no improvement. clothes stayed in the same spot.. nothing was happening but the Sensing Scroll Message.. I had to push the power button to stop it. I then pushed start but I still kept getting the error message scroll " Sensing "
I started over by setting it to drain & spin. It worked and my clothes got spun finally. Since I kept getting the sensor message and that is all it would say is " Sensing" .... I decided to try something else.
I powered it off and started a new load.
Next Load Trial:
I added soap to the detergent dispenser " Not the detergent smart dispense. Then i pushed the control lock button and last I hit the start button and whoala It works now.
Try getting familiar with your washer. do some light loads until you figure it out. It will eventually get where you need it to ,just be patient. Now I wash loads easy as pie.. I hope this helped you out with your problem. ;) . I am still learning mine and will post future issues and fixes if I come across any. Thank You.

Frigidaire front loading washer will not start will not stat, I get a PAU or ERR message, tried resetting by unplugging for an hour, removed and cleaned soap dispenser, and checked door for proper closure....

Thank you for your question, Friend.

If you are still receiving an error code PAU after resetting your washer, then the door of your washer is probably not securely latched or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume cycle. If the issue persists, then your washer could possibly have a faulty door latch, door strike or experiencing a communication error with the control board. I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your washer to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Best - Z

My Bosch front end washing machine will not start a cycle. Door is closed tightly and when I push start/pause red light comes on & immediately goes off-this happens every time I push the start/pause...

My Bosch washer turns "on" and water runs but it does not spin or complete wash. I hear the machine "clicking" as if it is attempting to to function but no spin or full wash cycle.

Error Message

Your owner's manual may give a troubleshooting guide for the error code your machine might give you. Is it possible you have locked out the control panel? I "think" the calypso has a control lockout, usually a start button or cancel button. If you press it in for 3-5 seconds, it can lock or unlock panel. If all else fails, try unplugging it and see it it will drain out the water.

Kenmore HE2, not starting

Hello true bug
Welcome

You said, Door locked, you manually unlocked it, but any other ideas of how to reset it or such?
you can go through the setting process, but when you push start it just beeps at me and does nothing.
Any ideas what's going on.
Also, I have not been using HE soap...Could this have caused the problem, and if so, how can I fix it?

Yes,
As with an error code the way to reset th system is!,

First unplug the washer and wait a 5 minutes then restart it like rebooting your computer when its acting strange!
If you can not reach the plug use the breaker!
This should problem and solve your problem.

The soap did not cause this. It was probably a fluke!

Next use only HE detergent and do not put more than the machines guide says,.
To much detergent will eventually destroy the seal and bearing.
How old is the washer?

If the appliance is 10 years old or more you it may not be advisable to put good money into bad!
New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
Water,Electric and detergent! And put money back in your pocket!
The new appliance will pay for itself in only a few years!

You will be fine
Bless You ngafm
Please remember to give me a rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I think it will be solved!

I too had the same problem, I closed the soap tray and a magnet popped out and got stuck to the door. Same problem with it acting like it was going to start and then beeped. This is where the magnet goes, just stick it back in, its held in with pressure (barely) :)

I took the whole control panel off to locate the magnetic reed switch, then just reverse engineered where the magnet is supposed to go on the soap drawer.
