I've read the manual top to bottom and the one function missing is how to copy the last caller to my directory list. ie. save caller to directory. All my other phones have this option, but I can't find it on this one

SOURCE: Caller ID does not work

I FIXED IT!!!  YIPEEE!!

What I did was UNPLUG the base's power unit from the wall... waiting about one minute, and plugged it back in.  That caused it to "reboot" the entire system, and the CID now shows itself.

If you recently acquired caller ID, then thats likely whats changed.

You can disable CLI/CID to see if thats stops the call logging. But you lose caller ID.

My Dect 3135 handset is flashing and shows New CID 1. How do I get rid of this and stop it flashing?

Caller ID (CID) is a service available from your telephone provider that shows the phone number (and sometimes the caller's name) of incoming calls.

The phone saves the information for the last 50 received calls to the CID list.

The NEW icon marks any calls received since the last time you checked the list.

To open the CID list press CID.

Highlight a number and press MENU/SELECT.

The options:
Delete an entry - this will erase the number from the list.
Store Into PB - this will add the number to the phonebook.
Delete All - will erase all numbers from the list.

Caller id log reads "empty" even when a call &/or message is left.

Check with the caller to see if they have "blocked" delivery of their caller id information. If the caller has blocked it, the phone cannot see it: some phones log this as "CID info missing" or similar verbage, others simply ignore the event. Good luck!

Need to check last call number received

Look at the Caller ID (CID) list.

Since you didn't specify the model of your Uniden cordless system, please select it from the list beginning at http://www.uniden.com/owners-manuals/cordless-phones/scat/cordlessphones_mnl to download a copy of the manual for full details.

Uniden cordless phone caller id quit working

Using the Caller ID and Redial Lists

Caller ID list

Redial list

When a call comes in, the phone displays the number and name (if available) of the caller.
The phone saves the information for the last 30 received calls to the

CID list.
When it's in standby, the handset shows how many calls came in since the last time you checked the CID list.

Each handset remembers the last 5 numbers you dialed on it. The redial list is separate for each handset.

KX-T7730 HOW TO REDIAL 10 LAST NUMBER AND 10 LAST NUMBER WHO CALLED ME

If your system is a TA-824 or higher and you have Caller ID, you can set a button that will capture the CID of the last calls you have answered on your set. The feature is called Caller-ID Personal and it requires 2 left side buttons on the phone to be preprogrammed for that feature.

Label them CID-S and CID-I. I put them on buttons 11 and 12 (counting from bottom to top) in the S and I order. To do that, press PROGRAM the button and dial 7 STORE for Indicate and 6 STORE for Select. Now, when a call comes in, it will save under the buttons and you can view them with tie I and S buttons and the navigator up and down arrows.

You get to program it :-)

In the User's manual section 2-2 there's an alpabetic index for Caller-ID. It requires 2 buttons, a CID-Indicator and a CID-Select button. We usually put them as the top 2 buttons in a 773x series phone, but you'll have to pick 2 adjacent or similar CO buttons. You label them CID-I and CID-S. Then you program them for either 96 and 97 or 6 and 7. You also have to tell the programming that you are setting up the common CID if you use 96&7.
