Sometimes the ram will fail in a small way, it may work with a different motherboard, remove the ram one stick at a time (with power off of course) and see if the system boots. Although it is possible the problem lies with the CPU cache ram, but this is very unlikely.

Remote control will not turn on fan

Do you have the correct type of fan connected to the motherboard ?
For fan control to work you must be using the type of fan that has at least three wires in the connector plug (if it has four wires that is ok too) but if it only has two wires then it will not works since the third wire is the control wire that the motherboard uses to detect fan speed and so on...
Fans that connect through a connector on the power supply will not work either must be conected to motherboard plug on the motherboard itself with at least three wires

hope this info helps

NOTE: if you are sure you are using the correct type of fan then check BIOS power/hardware monitor settings to see if the fan is connected to the correct plug on the motherboard and to verify it is being detected properly and fan speed setting is correct.

Intel D845GRG Motherboard Problem:usb wiring conection to board

Hi mrm291048,
The Intel D845GRG MB supports USB 2.0 & is backwards compatible to USB 1.0
For in-depth description of motherboard wire color & location click on this link & scroll down till you see, "Standard USB Cable Wiring Color Code".
You'll also need to open your manual to page 68 If you need the manual for the D845GRG MB click on this link;
Between the two you should be able to set the correct colored wire up to its matching pin on the MB.

If this is not answering your question, please set me strait & rephrase the question.
Good luck!

Motherboardecs fsb800

No.  You need to look at the model of your board properly and look up that manual online if you don't have it with you; at least look at other boards by the same maker!  Better connect a muted speaker though, because once you do connect it it will beep out a BIOS beep code for you to look up.
   Seriously, if it's in pieces for other reason than that it's broken, what do you expect of people?
