Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I have ASPIRE 5720G Laptop and I know that first time wan i bout it there was to chose witch language I wish and i have used the English until I had some problem and the service made format to default but they did not ask me witch language I use, so they made it work on French , so is it possible to put it back on English ? And if is possible how to do that , even if I have to format it again it's not a problem, just to find a solution . I have no recovery CD from the time wan laptop was English , unfortunately the 2. CD is damaged but first one work fine ( if this info help ). Thank you,

You can also point Internet Explorer to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
    to go to Windows Updates

  • moralt May 14, 2009

Hmm it looks like for some strange reason Windows Update didn't offer you service pack 1. You must have this installed for Vistalizator to work.

You can download Service Pack 1 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

Install Service Pack 1 then load the language packs in Vistalizator again then Update Languages again.

    Does it work now?

  • moralt May 14, 2009

Great news crveno I'm so pleased this works for you. Now you really can learn French by switching back and forth the languages :-) Have a wonderful day

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Chose Canadin French instead of Canadian English by accident

Hello,
Yes you are right: it is a one time option. You can however install other languages. You will switch from the Canadian French keyboard to the US or English Canadian keyboard by pressing Shift Alt. You will console yourself if I told you that I type mainly in French, but the physical keyboard is US and I cannot even use the Alt + Ascii code to put the accents where due, because the laptop does not have numeric pad.

Hope it helps.

Chose french windows instead english windows by accident and need to change it

Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.
Obviously you'll have to work out the French equivalents of the options but should be fairly obvious
