Blue/green spots on dlp

Curious about the green and blue spots on my tv

2005 panasonic pt 52lcx65 dlp

I have been researching some but can not find any real tips on fixing.

I did read one article about a optical engine being at falt but I can not find anyone who sells optical engines for this tv.

just today the bulb light came on to replace. It is going to cost 275 to replace, but wondering if this will fix the spots.

thanks

If your bulb light came on, Replace it before the bulb goes out. if not It could damage the bulb housing when the bulb pops. I have the same problem and dont have a solution for the spot.

Light green and pink spots on my hd tv!!!

Hi--Bought my panasonic pt-52lcx65 on sale for $2200 in 8/05. Replaced the lamp for about $300 in 1/08, just prior to Superbowl. Admittedly, this was to be expected after family members watched lots of tv over 30 months. However, two months later the blue spot emerged in 3/08, and red spot emerged 5/08. Set looks decorated by a Andy Warhol or Van Gogh wannabe. I'm looking for a fix it solution. Dr. Bob Heiliger, Lebanon, OH.

Panasonic 52LCX65\PT Green Spot

Good Day;

It sounds like the DLP may have a bad light engine (optical block), if so call the factory's customer service rep and ask for a concession, it is a very costly repair and they will normally cover. Call a factory authorized service dealer to confirm your concern.

Good Luck, big irish.

Green and Blue spots on screen

Sounds like stuck pixels, you really can't fix that. Do some google research if you are curious what a stuck pixel is.
