Locked radio ive typed in wrong codes now my radio is completly locked and wont let me type numbers into it what should i do i now have the code too

I typed this earlier so it is a copy and paste answer, but is the complete answer. If no registration document, you need a code company.

If it was an OEM radio that came with the vehicle when new, you can take your registration document to a local dealership and they will look up the code for you.

If it is an aftermarket addition, you will need to pull out the radio out and find the serial number on it. It is on a paper ticket, back or side. Then contact one of the radio code websites who will supply the code for a small fee based on the serial number.

Unfortunately LOCK13 means that 13 or more wrong codes have been entered previously and can only be reset by a Radio Decoding Service.

There are no free solutions for LOCK13 on the Internet

you have to keep the ignition on for two or more hours and it will then give you another three tries. the ignition must stay on all that time uninterrupted.

try disconnect stereo totally, then reconnect and put in right code, dealers usually store this information if it was put in by a dealer, and sometimes the code is on the bottom/back of the stereo.

That's a bummer. The factory radio has a anti-thief device that keeps the radio from working if the wrong code is put in too many times. When this happens, the radio is on lock-down. No more codes can be entered.

Only the dealer right now can only unlock the radio for you. They can get the correct code by the serial number on the radio. But, you still need them to remove the lock-down in place.

Your radio should say CODE when you tune it on. Type the 4 digit code in using your Radio Preset buttons 1 thru 6. If you type in the wrong code more the 3 times the radio will lock you out for a lengthy amount of time...

if you typed in your pin number wrong, call your network provider and they will give you the code to unlock it x

If you typed the number in wrong more than twice it may be locked and won't take the number even when it's correct. You need to disconnect the battery again for more than 5 minutes and try again. If you typed it in correctly, the card might be from a previous radio (if you're not the original owner) or if it is the original radio, a mechanic may have swapped the card with another car by mistake. Either way, it's a trip to the dealer.
