If you didnt even look at the manual. You just going to fry your motherboard. I wrote what the wires mean on your other post already and where they go if you look in the manual.

You should have told me you are missing a manual. If you dont follow thing from it correctly, you can really burn your motherboard. from the usb connectors on the motherboard
you see pins like this 1 is set 1 and 2 is set 2. you see those are wrapped in sets from you cable near the end. dont mix them

ooooo 12345
oooo 6789

lets put it this way

vcc1 = 1
-d1 = 2
+d1 = 3
GND1 = 4
nothing on 5
vcc2 = 6
-d2 = 7
+d2 = 8
GND2 = 9

it should work right away. just plug something in and it should be detected

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

on the motherboard, there should be 2 sets of usb connectors. Can you try the other set?

problem might be that this set has been damaged

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

make sure you test both usb ports from the front

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

yes it looks the same. it should be near the middle of the motherboard. close to the cpu. 1 inch or so away from the cpu

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

oops sorry, actually near the left side of the motherboard. if you look at the Audio plug from the back.. the usb connector is an inch from the audio connectors

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

    no.. if you see
    oooo 9876
    ooooo 54321

then its other way around. pretend your computer is upside down

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

basically the pin 5 is the indicator being blank..

    close to it is gnd

vcc then -d then +d the gnd then pin 5(blank)

if you click on my name, you can ask questions directly to me, but it is a paid service.

  • jkpf May 12, 2009

There isnt really a way for this place to directly ask a question unless you go with premium contact. basically pay for it. but you can always just use 1 dollar I think to ask

I have a wireless network of computers, one wired and 2 wireless. in the correct setup, my other acer laptop doesn have internet, but s connected to the router, and this laptop im using CAN connect...

All the computers should have the same NETWORK NAME or SSID.

Recheck the settings and make an adhoc connection for each of the computers to your router.

You can also get a USB wireless adapter to enable ht NO internet laptop and connect them.

Just keep playing with the NETWORK SETTINGS.

Make sure all are connected to the SAME SSID.

Hope it helped.

God Bless You!

How do I connect the computers 2 front USBs. I have 8 single wires 2 red 2 blue 2 black and 2 white

Next to the battery you have a connector like this:
instusb1a.jpg
line 1 for 1st front-panel usb, line 2 for 2nd.
there comes 4 wires from a single usb.
take a set of four wires and plug them in in this order: (from left to right)
Red white green black.
Connect other wires to same order to line 2.

Im going to tell you the safest, fastest, and Easiest way to do it, using your USB ,but it may require you to change settings manually on your device first. Make sure you have a Memory card,
Choose settings for USB connections on your phone.
1.Find "USB connection mo..."
  • Press the menu icon.
  • Press the fourth tab.
  • Press Phone settings.
  • Press Connectivity.
  • Press USB connection mo.... 2.Select setting
  • Press Mass storage
  • Press OK. 3.Exit

Once you've done this and have your memory in your device, Open the MY COMPUTER folder in your computer and connect your device to your computer using the USB cord, a new Icon will appear containing the folders from your device's memory card, that way you will easily be able to transfer files back and forth without the NEED of any sofware Cd's or use slow Bluethoot.

    Update

im sorry but you might have to be a bit more specific. I dont think u can update a ds game. and u cant connect it to the computer. the possible putcome i gathered from that is that he wants to play his game online and trade pokemon etc. meaning u need to connect the ds to your computer wirelessly using a
-nintendo wi-fi usb connector-( a usb drive u basically plug into ur computer and gives off internet for nintendo products) or a -wireless router or modem- ( the black box that the cables go through for internet).

When your grandson plays the game and wants to go online, (i will explain how to use this using directions in the game)
    1. turn on the ds and load the game
    2. watch the introduction movie (shiny pokemon)
    3. on the main screen where you decide to either continue, new game, or -NINTENDO WFC SETTINGS-, go to nintendo wfc settings
4.tap the blue box labelled nintendo wi-fi connection settings
5.if ur using a Wi-fi usb tap connect to wifi usb or if using wireless internet tap a blank connection square
    6. follow the prompts for the wifi usb and u will be connected to the internet
    7. for wireless internet, tap search for an access point
    8. when it has found the wireless internet tap O.K/connect/next etc and follow the prompts
9.when thats connected return to pokemon Diamond main screen then tap new game/continue to play
    10. walk to the pokemon centre and go downstairs to battle online - or go into a house in
(Jublife city?) to trade pokemon online

WOAH!! that was a lot of writing!
hope i helped plz make a comment or something if u need my help again

Worked Fine and then my computer did not recive a wireless connection, and nao cant play my 360 :[

make sure the wireless part of the router is working fine by trying a computer to connect wirelessly to the router. if it connected fine then it is a matter of matching the wireless settings of the router and the xbox in order for them to synchronize properly.

    Problem with my usb connection

Start-Setting-Connections tab-USB to PC then clear the Enable advanced network functionality check box. This makes your PC utilize a serial USB connection with your device. The USB to PC icon appears on the Today Screen when serial USB connection is used.

Hoping this will help your problem
