Question about Samsung Prostar DCS-24B-LCD Corded Phone
There is an existing night message however we have been unable to chnage it. If it requires a password we do not know it. The person who previously set this up is no longer employed here. Any suggestions would help. Thanks
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: night mode off
Does the Main Phone, usually the Receptionist have a button labeled RTO ( Ring Plan Overide ) ? If it does then this button can be used to change the ringing destination. If the button is on the Reception phone then press the RTO key, enter Password ( 0 0 0 0 ), 2 ( assuming ring plan 2 is Day mode ),then hang up. If this totally messes up your ringing then cancel the above by pressing the RTO again, enter password ( 0 0 0 0 ), 0. Let me know how it goes, the phone system type is what I was asking for and it should be marked back in the phone closet where all the phones are connected. Talk to you later

I have the manual for the DCS series and there is no help regarding this.
It does say how to turn from auto to manual and make sure that the time is correct.
1. If the manual NIGHT key is pressed BEFORE the system automatically enters night service then the automatic night service timer tables will be overriden until the system is manually restored to day mode.
2. If AFTER the system automatically enters the night service tables and will not be overriden.

I think that the video may help work out your groups on the Samsung prostar DCS, there are over 60 'how to' videos at www.abbeytelecom.com ,(usually the main operator group is set as '500' with subsequent groups '501' 502' etc)

SOURCE: how to program a dss
The easiest way to show you how to program you dss key is to watch the video attached, you need to make this a DS key and then input the extension number or try the following 1234 +/- Speaker MMC 722 Once in 722 type the extension number in the bracket at the top of the screen. The curser will then drop down to the button 1 key which will be call 1. Always keep the call 1/ 2 keys!!! Press the button that you want to change and find the command on the relevant button.
